For over 50 years. the Oxnard Mermaids Girls Slow-Pitch Softball League has been open to all girls between the ages of 4 to 17, with the objective to instill the ideals of good sportsmanship, teamwork, honesty, and empowerment. Though we strive for friendly competition, we focus on positive attitude and the desire to learn. Most importantly Mermaids softball offers an extended family, a sense of belonging and a place to build lifelong friendships!

At Closing Ceremonies, We Award Players & Volunteers in Recognition of Their Excellent Example During the Season. Nomination Letters Are Accepted All Season Long and Can Be Submitted by Any Player, Parent or Volunteer in Good Statnding.
